My name is Kari Graziano and I am the Director and 4K AM Teacher at LCK. I have a degree in Early Childhood and a Master’s Degree in Urban Education. I spent the first 15 years of my teaching career in Milwaukee Public Schools. I am very grateful to begin my 19th year of teaching/4th year here at LCK. My daughters attended LCK and I served on the Board for two years as a Class Representative and Secretary. I live in North Lake with my husband Tony, daughters Kennedy (11), Reese (8) and dog Scout.
My name is Katie Mahlberg. I am the 4K PM classroom teacher for Lake Country Kindergarten! I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on Early Childhood. I have taught 4K and 5K for 13 years. After taking a few years off from teaching to focus on my family, I am happy to be returning to the teaching profession at LCK! My husband Sean and I have two boys, Mason (10) and Colin (8), and one crazy dog, Finley. I enjoy spending time with my family or friends and relaxing by the lake. We like to be outdoors hiking, swimming, boating, or biking. I am excited to become part of the wonderful group of educators at LCK!
My name is Nichole Wright. I live in Oconomowoc with my husband Andre and my stepdaughter Mya. I enjoy traveling, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends. This will be my 10th year as the 4K Paraprofessional at LCK. I am also the Director of LCK’s Before and Aftercare Program and Extended Care Program at North Lake School.
My name is Kelsea Tajnai and this will be my first year as the 3K teacher at LCK. Before becoming a stay at home parent, I worked in several settings of early childhood and am looking forward to returning to the field. I live in Hartland with my husband Jon, son Jack (7), daughters Marni (6) and Ester (4) and our dog Rocky. I love to spend my free time doing all things outdoors with my family, being out on the water, enjoying quality time with friends or getting lost in a good book. All three of our children have gone through the LCK program and last year I had the opportunity to sit on the board as Vice President of Operations. I am excited to now be part of the staff and continue to serve in this phenomenal community.
My name is Mallory Hazelwood and I am the 3k paraprofessional, as well as lead teacher for the before and aftercare program through LCK. I live in Hartland with my husband Jesse and our three daughters, Jordyn (17), Jenna (15), and Jayce (5). Jayce attended 4k through LCK last year and I was grateful for the opportunity to volunteer in her classroom often. Before becoming a stay at home mom, I spent several years working with young children. I have certifications in both infant and early education. In my free time I enjoy cooking and baking, spending time with family and friends, gardening and traveling to our favorite vacation spot, Folly Beach!
My name is Patti Dibb and I will be the after care aide for the 3K and 4K morning classes this year. I live in Merton with my husband, Chad, and our two children; Hannah (10) and Colt (6) who both attend NLS. Colt attended LCK for 4K. We share our home with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Over the years I have had jobs that have prepared me for this new role. I spent 12 years as a zookeeper. One of my responsibilities was to teach children about the animals in my care. That was always a highlight in my day! For the past 9 years I have also owned a photography business where I work primarily with young children and families. I pride myself in being able to make a connection with children quickly during our photo shoots. Last year I had the pleasure of photographing the 3K and 4K classes and I enjoyed how much the children welcomed me into their classrooms. Over the past 3 years I have opened my home to childcare for a few families. I have been a Girl Scout leader for my daughter’s troop since she was a Daisy in Kindergarten. My husband and I (along with some other awesome parents) coach one of the North Lake Tball teams. I enjoy being involved with my children’s school as much as possible! I cannot wait to spend a couple hours a day with some of the 3K and 4K students this coming school year!
My name is Caitlin Schweitzer and I am the new President for LCK. I live in Monches with my husband, Aaron, my son, Emmett (6) and daughter, Sylvie (4). I have a degree in Social Work and prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I worked as a Social Worker in the Mental Health Field. In my free time, I love to garden, spend time with family and friends and try to DIY anything/everything. I, myself, am a LCK and North Lake graduate and am very excited to serve on the board while my kids go through the program.
I’m Melanie Dundon and this is my second year on the LCK Board. Last year I served as the Tuesday/Thursday 3K Class Representative and look forward to being the VP of Operations. We have been a part of the program for the past three years. I live in Merton with my husband Joe and our three children, Bennett (6), Brycen (4), Finley (3) and our dog, George. As a family we enjoy spending time outdoors, riding bikes, fishing, or up north. I have a master’s degree in nursing and work part-time as a nurse practitioner at Children’s Hospital. I look forward to serving on the board this year and contributing to this great program!
My name is Kellyn Bleck and I will be serving as the VP of Communications and the T/TH Class Representative. I am really looking forward to this upcoming year! My oldest son Easton is currently in 4K and my daughter Dakota in 3K at LCK. My youngest Camden is one and he will eventually go through the program at LCK as well. My husband Josh and I are currently building our new home in Merton. Before becoming a stay at home mom, I worked in the financial industry. I now work part time and love being able to spend more time with my kids. Our family loves to be outdoors exploring nature as often as we can be. I am excited to serve on the board and be a part of LCK while all my children go through this program. Look forward to getting to know you all and to help serve in this community!
My name is Erik Johnson and this is my second year serving as the Treasurer of LCK. I live in Merton with my wife Jenny, daughter Ashlyn (4), son Colton (2), and 3 dogs. I work for U.S. Bank Wealth Management as a Wealth Management Practice Management Consultant and formerly taught 8th Grade Social Studies. My free time is spent with my family and we enjoy doing anything outdoors. My daughter attended LCK for 3K last year and my son will attend next year. I enjoy serving as the Treasurer of LCK to ensure the program has long term financial stability to continue serving the community for years to come.
My name is Becky Burton. I work full time as a nurse in a dermatology clinic and am a mom of 3 amazing kids; Isaac (8), Evelyn (7), and Aubrey (4). In our free time our family loves being outdoors camping, swimming and going on UTV adventures. Isaac and Evelyn both attended LCK and Aubrey is our last child to attend LCK. We love being part of this community and I am excited to serve this year as the 4K AM class rep.
My name is Laura Weber and I am the 4k PM Class Representative. I live in Hartland with my husband, Mike, and my two daughters, Melanie (6) and Nicole (4). As a family we love summer activities such as kayaking, swimming and biking. I look forward to serving as a 4K rep and helping out where I can in this great program!
My name is Jamie Gromalak and I am the Monday/Wednesday Class Representative! I live in Hartland with my husband Fred, son Bo (3), and daughter Oaklee (1). Prior to becoming a stay at home mom, I was a 3rd grade teacher! As a family we love to spend time up north, on the beach in Florida, or cruising around on the boat! I look forward to contributing to the LCK program!
My name is Kristen Roessler and I live in the Town of Delafield with my family that consists of my husband, our 3 children – Alex, Iris(attends 4K), and Ezra, and many animals of the fur, feather, and reptile kind. One of our favorite family activities is going camping. Before becoming a small business owner this past year, I was in the corporate IT world in various types of support and leadership roles. My background allows me to have proficient use in Office, email programs, and being a fast typer as well as a great listener.
Lake Country Kindergarten Preschool’s goal for our children is to generate excitement for learning and to foster feelings of safety and comfort in the school environment. This is accomplished by providing a warm, caring and interesting classroom.
